Fashion trends straight from the runway
The Spring-Summer 2025 collections have finally hit the stores! And with the excitement comes the age-old question: Which ones should I invest in? Down below is a list with 4 of the biggest and most wearable trends for you to consider on your next shopping trip.

Orange
From desert hues, rays of sunshine, and sweltering heat to everyone’s favorite summertime cocktail, Aperol Spritz, our association with orange, during the hot weather months, is a strong and solid one. Unsurprisingly, the same thing also applies to fashion designers. Whether Burberry, Prada, Bottega Veneta, or Saint Laurent, apricot, burnt, flaming, or lava, orange tones were a major and prevalent force on the runway. In case bold and bright shades aren’t normally your first choice, fortunately, there are a wide variety of different low-key options out there for you to introduce this color into your wardrobe. For instance, Prada’s timeless 60s-inspired A-line skirt, a floral-embellished version of Fendi’s iconic Baguette bag, or small Angelika earrings in jasper by Sophie Buhai, as a particularly minimalistic interpretation.

Masculine Suits
Whether androgynous versions, like the ones showcased at Jil Sander and Bottega Veneta, or the parade of downright masculine counterparts that Saint Laurent and Emporio Armani opened their shows with, women are clad in suits for this season. If heading to an important appointment or when going out at night to dinner, dripping with simplicity and elegance, there is something to be said for the confidence that only putting on a suit can give you. Styled casually with a basic tank top or dressed up with an impeccably cut button-down shirt from Charvet (Gabrielle Chanel was a fan!), these oversized versions—blazer and pants by The Frankie Shop and Lemaire’s jacket and belted pants—are as timeless as they are endlessly adaptable. After all, is there a more feminine and chic way for a woman to dress than in a tuxedo or tailored suit?

Florals
Delicate, vibrant, or mid-bloom, between spring and summer, it is only natural for flowers to be found everywhere. All-encompassing on the runway, most fashion designers incorporated them in some shape or form into their collections. And, for Spring-Summer 2025, florals morphed into a vintage version of themselves, akin to beloved flea market finds. JW Anderson for Loewe set on large blooms that graced delicate chiffon dresses with dramatic hoop skirts, Chemena Kamali showcased voluminous and flowy pieces for her first Chloé collection, and Alessandro Michele, in a continuance of his creative vision for the Maison, dug through Valentino’s archive to retrieve delicate flower prints, embroideries, and embellishments for his debut show. Dôen’s Amira dress and Christian Louboutin’s Sandale Du Desert heels, in line with the trend, offer up their own take on the rose motif.

Bodysuits
A longtime closet staple, a beautiful example of that is Wolford’s turtleneck version; bodysuits can take on many different purposes and forms. From practical and sporty to sensual and elegant, they were heavily featured in multiple collections. Reminiscent of female athletes throughout history, Maria Grazia Chiuri designed for Dior sophisticated athleisure where bodysuits underlined ease and movement. Meanwhile, in a nod to the label’s history, Maximilian Davis combined his creations with wrap cardigans and tights, leaning strongly into the balletcore trend. Despite a focus on ease and simplicity, Miuccia Prada opted for bright colors and cutouts, conjuring an association with chic bathing suits. Unveiling simultaneously with the main collection, Petit Bateau X Miu Miu, a collaboration of charming basics, the bodysuit is a personal favorite. And, for anyone in need of a luxurious piece, Stella McCartney’s iconic embellished mesh bodysuit is guaranteed to do the trick.
